My interest in photography began when I chose to study it at college. I had never processed or printed photographs before and became fascinated with the process, spending hours in the darkrooms. During my gap year I worked as a photographer’s assistant, this confirmed my passion for photography and led me on to study it at university. My degree has been the most challenging yet rewarding thing I have done and has provided me with a lot of valuable experience. My major projects in my final year have helped me to locate my interest as a photographer, which lies with archives, found photography and the photograph as a material object.
